What is the Minimum Group Size?
A group cruise is when a group of people book multiple cabins on the same cruise. The minimum number of cabins required to make a group varies by cruise line. To count towards a group, a cabin must have at least 2 people in it. Here are a few cruise lines minimum group policies:
- 3 staterooms or more on Crystal Cruises
- 5 or more staterooms on Viking River Cruises and Uniworld Boutique River Cruises
- 6 or more staterooms on Regent Seven Seas and Cunard
- 8 or more staterooms (5 nights or longer) on Royal Caribbean, Azamara, Celebrity, Holland America, Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Carnival.
