PLEASE READ THIS. IT CONSTITUTES PART OF YOUR CONTRACT FOR YOUR TRIP AND ANY RELATED SERVICES. PLEASE CALL US IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.
Please thoroughly review these terms and conditions of Group Cruise Discounts, LLC and it agents herein collectively referred to as GCD. The addressee of this notice will be the only recipient of this booking receipt and terms and conditions. It is the sole responsibility of the addressee to inform all other parties traveling of the contents of these terms and conditions. The booking passenger, by accepting this receipt and making payment to GCD, acknowledges that they have been advised of, reviewed, and hereby accept these terms and conditions and contract for travel related services.
- ** BOOKING ACCURACY/LEGAL NAMES: Passenger is required to immediately review all aspects of their booking to verify (but not limited to): passenger names, mailing address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, pricing, airfare, arrival/departure airports, accommodations, and organized activities on your booking receipt. Please notify GCD immediately if any omissions and/or corrections are needed regarding the booking details. Passenger(s) voluntarily assumes full & sole responsibility for any and all risks and/or costs involved with failure to report such errors and/or omissions. Passenger is required to verify the accuracy of the passenger’s LEGAL first & last names. It is mandatory that guest names be identical to the Passenger(s) LEGAL first and last names and identical to the names as they appear on booking and travel documents.
- ** TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Passenger(s) assumes sole responsibility to independently confirm all documentation requirements for all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry and/or travel requirements of each destination. Passenger(s) assumes sole responsibility for, and hereby releases GCD from any claims or responsibility for any and all damages incurred as a result of Passenger(s) failure to comply with applicable documentation requirements, including but not limited the requirement that all Passengers procure, and have on their person the proper travel documents at all times. GCD recommends the Passenger(s) consult with the appropriate domestic and foreign governmental agencies for the current document requirements.
- ** TRAVEL SAFETY AND TRAVEL ADVISORIES: Passengers acknowledge that there are risks inherent with travel both domestic and foreign. It is the passengers' responsibility (not GCD) to be aware of all governmental travel advisories, dangers and risks associated with traveling to the locations and countries that the passenger is choosing to visit including, but not limited to crime, disease, terrorism, weather, construction, and all other items of importance.
- ** FOREIGN COUNTRY / CRUISE LINE LEGAL REQUIREMENTS: Passenger(s) assume sole responsibility to independently confirm all legal requirements of leaving the USA and entry and visits to foreign countries. Passenger(s) acknowledge that at most foreign countries and cruise lines will deny entry / boarding to a passenger(s) with criminal backgrounds without any refund or compensation for the missed trip. The USA also has legal requirements to leave the USA that must be met (including child support orders and other legal requirements). If these are not met, departure may be denied without any compensation. It is the passenger(s) sole responsibly to be aware of these limitations and to book accordingly. GCD is not responsible to advise passengers(s) of these rules and is not liable if passenger(s) is denied entry / boarding.
- ** Cruises: GCD strongly advises all travelers to arrive at the port of embarkation at least 1 day prior to embarkation.
- ** PAYMENTS: If deposit/payment is not received by GCD on or before the Deposit Due Date, reservations are automatically cancelled. It is travelers' responsibility to be aware of payment deadlines and to contact GCD with payment instructions prior to payment deadlines. Failure to remit payments on a timely basis will automatically put your booking at risk of cancellation.
- Please contact us immediately, and in advance of your payment due date, if you will be unable to meet this obligation. Without limitation, Passenger(s) voluntarily hold GCD harmless for cancellation of any booking for either late payment or declination of a credit card. You take full responsibility for the credit card charges for your trip and agree to pay for any chargebacks and/or disputes that may arise from your payments.
- ** Group Cruise Discounts, LLC and its agents are travel agents arranging all travel services through third party suppliers, which will provide goods and services for your trip. You agree that Group Cruise Discounts, LLC. and its agents act only as your agent and you agree not to hold Group Cruise Discounts, LLC or its agents liable for any delay, loss, injury, expense or accident occasioned directly or indirectly by any action or omission or inclement weather, whether negligent or otherwise, of any supplier or other entity entrusted with the performance of any service or the delivery of any goods in connection with your trip or any available option. You agree to seek all remedies directly with suppliers.
- ** Airline tickets (if included in your travel package) are highly restrictive, non-refundable, and non-transferable. Modification of passenger names, dates, times, routings, or departure/arrival airports is at the sole discretion of the airline and, if permitted, will likely be subject to a substantial change fee. Passenger is responsible for any such fees. With regard to the purchase of air tickets, WTA acts simply as an intermediary between you and the airline. Once you book a reservation, your credit card or debit card will be charged for the amount shown – regardless of whether or not the reservation is used. Credit will not be given for any unused airline tickets and cannot be used toward any future bookings. It is the clients responsibility to complete the online check-in with the airlines for each segment of their trip and to check for flight schedule changes.
- ** IN ADDITION TO THE LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY SET FORTH ABOVE, YOU AGREE THAT GCD IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO ANY AIRLINE TIMETABLE CHANGES, DELAYS, CANCELLATIONS, MISSED CONNECTIONS, MECHANICAL PROBLEMS, INCLEMENT WEATHER, SEATING REASSIGNMENTS, LOST/DELAYED BAGGAGE, SCREENING AND SECURITY DELAYS, REFUSED BOARDING OR FAILURE TO CHECK-IN PROPERLY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE USE OR ENJOYMENT OF AN ACTIVITY MAY BE HAZARDOUS AND INHERENTLY RISKY, AND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GCD SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH; LOST, STOLEN, DAMAGED OR DESTROYED PROPERTY; OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE AND OPERATION OF THE ACTIVITY, AND ALL ACTIONS OR EVENTS OCCURRING PRIOR TO, DURING, AT OR AFTER, THE ACTIVITY.
- ** Airfare: All tickets will be issued for economy class unless otherwise specified. All travel will be round-trip unless otherwise specified. Seat assignments are subject to the airlines policies and may not be able to be made until you are at the airport on the day of departure. Airline tickets booked through GCD may not eligible to earn frequent flyer miles. You agree to confirm all bookings with the airline prior to the stated date of departure (GCD recommends confirming 72 hours prior). You fully understand and accept the non-refundable and cancelation policy of the suppliers providing your travel services.
- ** CANCELLATION POLICIES: All cancellations or no-shows are subject to penalties imposed by the supplier. If you require a copy of these terms, please contact the supplier or your agent at GCD.
- Additionally, all booking cancellations, transfers to another Agency, or no-shows are considered cancellations and subject to a non-refundable fee of $300 per booking imposed by GCD. Upon making the booking, Passenger(s) hereby accept & acknowledge liability for all cancellation fees imposed by GCD and the supplier.
- ** TRAVEL PROTECTION: Travel insurance protection is Strongly Recommended. As your travel agent, we have a professional responsibility to recommend the purchase of travel protection to protect both you and your vacation. While we do offer coverage through certain carriers, we cannot compare all the policies or companies currently in the marketplace. This responsibility rests solely with you, the customer, and we advise you to do your research and find coverage that best fits your individual needs. GCD is limited to advising you of the need for such coverage.
- Purchasing travel insurance is not required in order to purchase any other product or service that we have to offer.
- GCD is not licensed to sell insurance, and therefore, GCD is not qualified or authorized to answer technical questions about the benefits, exclusions, and conditions of this travel insurance or evaluate the adequacy of your existing insurance coverage.
- The insurance coverage may duplicate existing insurance policies that you may have. You may wish to compare the terms of this policy with your existing life, health, home, rental and automobile policies, and other sources of protection. If you have any questions about your current coverage, please call your insurer or insurance agent.
- If you add something to your travel package after purchasing the travel protection and this new addition to your travel package increased the cost of your travel package, it is your responsibility to ask GCD to update the cost of your trip package with your travel protection. You will pay the increased premium due as a consequence of increasing the cost of your travel package. By declining travel protection, you acknowledge and accept liability for any cancellation penalties, damages and/or out–of-pocket expenses incurred. You also acknowledge and accept responsibility for arranging and paying for any treatment in case of a medical emergency while traveling.
- ** AGENT/INTERMEDIARY: GCD is simply an intermediary between the Suppliers and the public. GCD does not own or operate any of, hotels, shore excursions, tours, transportation providers, cruise lines, vessels, airlines, travel protection companies, attractions, or other travel-related Suppliers who provide goods or services for the Passenger(s)’ trip. Passenger(s) acknowledge and agree that GCD shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to Passenger(s) or group members as a result of a breach of contract, act or omission whether willful or negligent, criminal or otherwise of any person other than GCD or its direct employees, including but not limited to these Suppliers, their employees, agents, servants, or representatives. Suppliers reserve the right to deviate from the direct, customary and/or scheduled route or itinerary for any reason, without limitation and without notice. Passenger(s) acknowledge and agree that GCD is not responsible for Supplier deviations, delays, cancellations, mandated overnight stays, missed connections or any other condition beyond its control.
- GCD is not liable for any loss due to Passenger’s gambling and is not responsible for any purchases made while on the trip.
- While GCD prides itself on selecting top quality Suppliers, no undertaking, guarantee or warranty is given or shall be implied as to the fitness or condition of the Supplier’s accommodations, transportation, or any food, drink, medicine, or provisions supplied. Passenger(s) acknowledge and agree that GCD shall not be responsible for refunding, either fully or partially, any amounts paid due to unsatisfactory services from any supplier. In no event shall GCD be liable for any accident which occurs in hotels, in resorts, on airplanes/in airports, on buses/in bus stations, on trains/in train stations, on board a cruise ship, on tenders, on shore excursions, or during any mode of transportation encountered during the trip, resulting from equipment or any other cause. The Passenger admits a full understanding of the nature and character of the mode of transport and assumes all risks of travel, transportation and handling of passengers and baggage.
- ** ITINERARY REVIEW AND CONFIRMATION OF ACCURACY: This confirms that you have reviewed the itinerary for accuracy including spelling of names, dates of travel, city pairs (departure & arrival cities), connection times etc. If there are any changes needed, it is your responsibility to notify Group Cruise Discounts, LLC immediately as change penalties can be severe including, but not limited to, change fees and fare increases. This also confirms you have read the cancellation & refund policies and agree to them.
- Citizenship, Passports, Criminal Records, DUI and Child Support: All travelers must be US Citizens, not owe child support and have a passport valid no less than 6 months after your return date . Some cruises and countries will not allow a traveler with a felony or DUI conviction. It is the traveler's responsibility to determine whether their itinerary includes countries with limitations for travelers with felony convictions or DUI convictions. Group Cruise Discounts, LLC does not advise on whether a certain itinerary or cruise line restricts travel for people with criminal records.
- All travelers must have their valid passports with them on their trip. Group Cruise Discounts, LLC does not provide visa or passport services. It’s your responsibility to secure a visa and/or consult a visa service sufficiently in advance of your trip to allow you to secure the necessary documentation in advance of your travel dates. It is your responsibility to research and determine the specific requirements of each destination under your specific personal circumstances.
- COVID 19 and impact on travel.
Please be advised the travel Itinerary included on this document is for travel with COVID-19 being a known global risk. As such, it is NOT included in most trip protection policies. It is your responsibility (not GCD) to seek out information from the trip protection company (should you choose to get trip protection) and understand the limitations and protections of any trip protection policy you purchase.
You should be aware that COVID-19 and the health and security measures around COVID-19 may impact elements of your trip and may influence the operation of some travel services. The country you reside in, the country or countries you are travelling to or via, and the airline(s) you are travelling on may all have strict requirements on travel to limit the spread of COVID-19.
These requirements may include but are not limited to:
- Wearing of masks at airports, while in flight and when out in public.
- Active testing for COVID-19 that may include blood testing, before being allowed to board any flight or enter a country.
- Being able to show proof of health via formalized means (Certificate or similar)
- Subject to screening on arrival at your destination country or any transit countries. Subject to quarantine periods in any country subject to screening results.
- Changing restrictions on sightseeing, due to closures or other public health concerns. Subject to limitation/restrictions on travel to your destination by your country of residence/citizenship.
- Possible compulsory quarantine on return to your country of residence/citizenship.
COVID-19 is causing constant and ongoing changes in the application of the above types of measures and the way an airline, airport or country chooses to deal with the threat of COVID is constantly changing. It is your responsibility to keep yourself informed of all requirements in relation to your trip and any COVID-19 based restrictions, and suggest these are constantly monitored right up until departure, as they can change at any time.
GCD is not liable for any loss due to failure to read and understand this information, as the considerations included in this document may be critical to your upcoming trip.

*** It is your responsibility (not GCD) to know the pandemic-protective policies and practices of the suppliers involved. You understand that the supplier(s) may not apply those policies as diligently as the policies suggest. Even if the supplier makes a good faith effort to enforce its good practices, some travelers may simply refuse to cooperate.
- Coronavirus COVID-19 Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability & Indemnity Disclosure
In consideration of the travel opportunity presented to you by this Agency and afforded to you by the Vendors considered, the Client and travelers in Clients party, Client, by applying payment on travel considered herein, acknowledges and agrees to the following:
The 2019 Novel Coronavirus* (“COVID-19” “Coronavirus” “Pandemic”) is a known and rapidly evolving pandemic that is affecting travel worldwide, with continued spread and impacts expected.
Client is fully aware of the current global Coronavirus COVID-19 virus outbreak, the current travel restrictions, and inherent risks involved if choosing to travel.
Client understands that it is his/her responsibility to check, understand, and comply with the latest travel information regarding this virus outbreak with the CDC https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices, domestic governing bodies https://travel.state.gov, destination governing bodies, and all vendors associated with Clients travel.
Client is aware that it is his/her personal decision to travel and is doing so with full knowledge of current travel recommendations, restrictions, and requirements with regards to the Coronavirus COVID-19 and takes full responsibility for his/her actions with regards to this.
Client understands and confirms that this Agency, after reasonable inquiry, has made available to client, by reference, referral, or other conveyance, the best available information known to this Agency regarding pandemic policies provided by travel suppliers and governing bodies, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, cruises lines, tour agencies, insurance provider, transfer agencies or any other entity involved in clients booking.
Client is aware the travel warnings, travel restrictions and rules including screening and use of masks, travel insurance restrictions, and restrictions that may impede Clients ability to enter or exit a destination as planned, related to Covid-19 and understands the risks, is accepting of these and holds this Agency harmless for any travel restrictions, death, illness, cancellations by suppliers, hotels, airlines, cruise lines, tour agencies or any other travel provider, financial loss, quarantining rules or measures put in place at airports or destinations Client is traveling through. Client further agrees to hold this Agency harmless for any financial penalties or fees imposed by the by suppliers, hotels, airlines, cruise lines, tour agencies or any other travel provider due to cancellations or postponements due to Covid-19 and agrees not to sue or institute a credit card dispute or “charge back” to this agency or its partners for said penalties, fees, or real or alleged damages.
- ** LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Without limitation, Passenger(s) assume the risk of, and agree that GCD is not liable for any damages arising from or related to any act of God or public enemies, arrest, restraints of any government or rulers of people, piracy, war, revolution, extortion, terrorist activity, threatened or actual rebellion, political upheaval, civil unrest, riots, fire, lockouts, explosion, collision, weather conditions, dangers incident to the sea, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, abnormal conditions or developments,closure of airports/seaports/hotels/train stations, carrier or supplier logistical problems, computer problems stranding, food or water poisoning, illness, grounding, perils of the sea, rivers, canals, locks or other waters, perils of navigation of any kind, theft, accident to or from machinery, boilers, or latent defects even though existing at commencement of the trip, desertion or revolt of crew, or lost/damaged/delayed luggage.
- The failure of GCD to act with respect to a breach of these Terms and Conditions by you, or others, does not waive its right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches. GCD does not guarantee it will take action against all breaches of this these Terms and Conditions.
- CHOICE OF LAW: The Parties hereby agree that any and all disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be submitted to courts within Kootenai County, Idaho and shall be governed by the laws of the State of Idaho.
